Questions for a remote visit
You have a treatment page open and a list of hoped-for changes. Before paying, ask what the assessment involves and what the full bill covers. This guide sees no one and handles no prescriptions or bookings.
Bring the concern that made you search, even if you are unsure how to describe it. Ask how a clinician, the health professional assessing you, would approach it. Include what happens if sermorelin is not the answer.
Bring the concern, not a chosen treatment
Try opening with what changed, how it affects your day, and what help you hoped to find. Naming the concern is enough to begin; deciding on a diagnosis belongs in the assessment.
Make a note of when the concern began and what you have already tried. Bring the ad or claim that led you here, too. That gives the conversation something concrete to examine.
Ask what part of your health history the clinician needs. Write down your medicines, supplements and unresolved questions. Keep those notes so a later conversation can pick up where this one ended.
Ask which choices are open after the assessment. That includes further testing, an in-person appointment, another treatment, or no prescription. The purpose of the visit is a reasoned answer about your concern.
Check who can treat you
Where will you be sitting for the remote appointment? Federal health guidance checked September 26, 2026 says the professional needs permission to practice where you are, as well as meeting the licensing rules at their own location.
Get a name you can look up, the person’s professional role, and their state authorization details. A license gives permission to practice, rather than scoring how good the care will be.
A state medical board’s public record shows a doctor’s licensing status and discipline information. What is disclosed varies; the absence of public action does not prove high-quality care.
For a doctor’s record, use the board websites linked in the directory below. It includes boards for doctors with an MD degree and those with a DO degree, called doctors of osteopathic medicine. Ask which board holds your doctor’s record so you search the right one. For other professional roles, ask which board keeps the license record.

Telehealth puts distance between you and the professional: the conversation might use video, a telephone or an online exchange. Find out if the first contact is live, what records are reviewed, and how further questions are handled.
The medical boards’ model policy is a suggested standard for state boards. It rejects a fixed questionnaire alone when the form cannot gather enough information for a proper assessment. The policy is guidance, while states set their own enforceable rules. Ask the clinician which state rules apply to your visit.
A form is not automatically a bad sign. The key distinction is whether the assessment can respond to your answers rather than just collect a fixed set of boxes.
The same model policy says that when an assessment needs a test or an in-person exam, the physician must complete it, arrange it or refer you.
Ask how any needed tests would be arranged near you, who would read them, and when the results would be discussed. A proposed test is also a chance to ask what decision its result would change.
Read the medical boards’ model policyFind the pharmacy behind the name
A care website’s name may leave the medicine’s source unclear. FDA identifies this gap for online care: people may be unaware of which compounder, meaning the pharmacy or facility making the medicine, is involved.
Ask which pharmacy would prepare a prescription and which would send it. Get the names before trying to verify them. If different names appear later, ask for the reason.
State license searches are linked from FDA’s pharmacy lookup page. Open the link below, choose your state, and enter the pharmacy’s name in the state board’s license search. That search opens the board’s public license records. If the pharmacy is not listed there, FDA advises against using it.
A listed license confirms licensing, not that every prescription or product is appropriate. FDA also lists a valid prescription, a reachable pharmacist and United States contact details among the signs to check.
A polished page cannot do these checks for you. FDA cautions that unsafe online pharmacies can use convincing storefronts.

The September 28, 2026 records gave no drug-maker or government sermorelin price because no approved product was being sold. Neither source provides a rough monthly medicine price to quote here. For a visit and a month of medicine, ask for the charges together before paying. The online prices come from pharmacies or care services.
Ask for a quote for your proposed care, broken down in writing, with charges due now and later. Keep the payment terms beside it so the amount and the commitment can be read together.
- Assessment
- Is the initial visit separate from follow-up visits or a recurring fee?
- Tests
- Which tests are proposed, where are they done, and who bills for them?
- Medicine
- Is a prescription charge included, or does the pharmacy send a separate bill?
- Delivery
- Are shipping or replacement costs part of the quoted amount?
- Stopping
- What is the cancellation process, and what charges are refundable if no prescription is issued?
For insurance, take the proposed service and medicine names to the plan and ask what it would pay. Get a clear answer about any approval step or paperwork before treating a quote as your final cost.
Compare like with like: the same visits, tests, medicine and time period. A low opening figure is hard to interpret if the ongoing charge and the way to stop paying are missing.
Write down the follow-up plan
Before deciding, ask who handles questions afterward, how to reach them and what happens when an in-person exam is needed. Keep a copy of the answer with your visit notes.
The check dated September 28, 2026 found no current FDA-reviewed sermorelin prescribing document, often called a drug label. This means the full medical information for prescribers, rather than the sticker on a pharmacy bottle. That leaves no up-to-date FDA-reviewed account of pregnancy effects or the reasons a person must avoid it. Ask the pharmacy for the directions and warnings that come with your medicine.
Ask how your own health history, pregnancy plans or breastfeeding would change the discussion. Ask what would be monitored, how results would be reviewed, and what would lead the clinician to reconsider treatment.
Research measurements are not a ready-made care plan. The studies measured growth hormone response and blood sugar, as well as IGF-1, another signal involved in growth; those measurements do not tell you which tests your clinician will choose.
Growth hormone prompts the body to make IGF-1, a signal that helps direct growth in the body. Ask what measuring these growth signals would help the clinician decide about your care.
Questions to take to a visit
Check off the answers you have. Leave the gaps visible so they can be discussed.
Ask for the study behind the claim
Keep the claim beside the study, then compare the people, the substance and the outcome. If the answer is only that a hormone level changed, ask how that relates to the benefit you are seeking.
